He is the author of the book “Triathlon// cutting edge training for athletes of all abilities” and was head coach of the UCLA Triathlon Team for six years. All programs are custom to the individual athlete. All programs include specific daily sessions for endurance & strength training along with advice on nutrition, recovery techniques, mental training strategies and race preparation. All athletes are expected to train with a heart-rate monitor and keep a daily training journal. Each athlete should budget to undertake TRIO blood lactate testing approximately every 12-16 weeks to monitor progress and gains.
