All here on our doorstep – there’s no excuse not to race and if you plan it right September could be the best time of the year to peak your fitness. Think about this when you plan your 2011 season. Using the law of periodisation, build to season peak #1 from Jan to May. Then rest up in June then go again from July to September for your second peak.
